Creative Communities – towards a regional cultural plan

Over the coming weeks various sections of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council will be consulting on a number of plans, strategies and policies currently being developed.

The Cultural Plan, along with other plans and strategies (environment, social etc) will sit under the Corporate Plan. We are conducting a number of focus groups, forums and surveys to inform the development of this plan.

To ensure that we have strong community representation, we are seeking input from individuals across a range of community sectors to attend one of the focus groups.

You are invited to contribute to the development of a Cultural Plan for the Sunshine Coast Regional Council by participating in one of the following focus groups. We expect each session will be about 2.5 hrs including a refreshment break.

MON 27 OCT. 5.30pm – 8.00pm Coolum Civic Centre

WED 5 NOV. 2.00pm – 5.00pm Maleny Show Pavilion

As a member of the local community, your contribution is valued. If you are able to attend, could you please advise which session best suits your needs.

If you are unable to attend a focus group but would like to be kept informed and involved in the Cultural Planning process, please let us know.
