NSX chairman Ian Mansbridge has announced the appointment of Robert Bladier as new managing director of NSX Limited, the company that operates the National and Bendigo Stock Exchanges, the WaterExchange and BSX Victorian Taxi Market.
“Robert has more than 20 years experience in financial services and capital markets, including 10 years working with ASX, where he was head of strategic business. Development,” Mr Mansbridge said. Robert’s involvement took him through the ASX demutualization and, importantly, the strategic planning necessary for a stock exchange as a listed commercial entity. Prior to this Robert was the director in charge of equity derivatives for BZW Australia, part of Barclay’s Bank, and one of Australia’s largest brokers in the 1990’s.
“He also has considerable experience in government and public policy.”
